Howdy, I am a PhD student in EECS advised by Prof. Julie Shah. I am also an MIT Lemelson Engineering Presidential Fellow. My research interests center on learning-based robot manipulation.

My current research focuses on generalising human-in-the-loop robotic systems that interact with non-rigid objects using probabilistic modeling, planning and learning from demonstration. More generally, I am motivated to understand in what ways robots should interact with highly uncertain environments to safely and efficiently learn robust policies.

I earned my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UW, where I worked as a Pathways Intern at NASA JSC’s Software, Robotics and Simulation Division. A few of my favorite things include coffee, outdoor adventuring and playing electric/acoustic guitar.
