Two members of the Interactive Robotics Group --- Vaibhav Unhelkar and Pem Lasota --- will be presenting their work at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in Australia next week from May 21th to May 25th.

Vaibhav Unhelkar and Przemyslaw “Pem” Lasota will be presenting their co-authored paper titled “Human-Aware Robotic Assistant for Collaborative Assembly: Integrating Human Motion Prediction With Planning in Time”. The spotlight video is available on ICRA 2018 YouTube channel here. The corresponding interactive presentation will be available from 10:30 am to 13:00 pm May 23th, 2018 at Pod K Slot 3. This paper presents a human-aware robotic system with single-axis mobility that incorporates both predictions of human motion and planning in time to execute efficient and safe motions during automotive final assembly. You can read the full paper here. This paper will be published in the journal of “IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters”.

Vaibhav Unhelkar will also be presenting his paper titled "Enabling Robot Teammates to Learn Latent States of Human Collaborators" in the workshop of Robot Teammates Operating in Dynamic, Unstructured Environments (RT-DUNE). He will present his poster in the afternoon session at 14:45 pm on May 21th.
