I obtained my Ph.D. at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) as a member of the Interactive Robotics Group advised by Prof. Julie Shah. My dissertation was in the field of Human-AI Collaboration, where I designed AI systems that provide decision support to teams of human users, aiding their decision-making process in planning, scheduling, and optimization problems. I developed algorithms to generate interpretable plan summaries from various form of inputs such as meeting documents and event traces.
Currently I work as an AI Research Scientist at Invitae where I develop automated planning and machine learning models to streamline complex business processes with the goal of bringing medical genetic information to billions of people.
Prior to my Ph.D., I received my M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I was a NSF Graduate Research Fellow.
