I am a PhD student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a member of the Interactive Robotics Group at CSAIL. My research focuses on robot learning, with an emphasis on learning from demonstration. I aim to empower domain experts with minimal programming experience to teach robots efficiently.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka and my master’s degree in Computer Science from MIT. Outside of research, I enjoy playing video games—particularly Dota 2—and traveling to explore new places.
